included in my commoninternet.net page / site of sidenotes, a lot about quilts, technical knowledge and transmission, knitting, electronics.

interested in the connections between electronic art and textile art : something about screens, assembly of squares and forms.

what are screens when they are not lit. are screens quilts ? are quilts screens ? can screens be made of other non-electronic materials, can quilts be made of non-textile material ?

glue creates interesting reaction on wood. feels like cloud gazing.

working with scrap materials, leftovers of plywood + found on kijiji 3 boxes of scrap leather from book bindings.

what else could this website be ?

through the years i gathered a lot of electronic components through giving workshops or interactive studios in montreal closing their electronics departement. would love to create a spreadsheet of all the components i have. and make it public. create an exchange community so we don't have to order more components but can trade or exchange or borrow.

making watercolor versions of electronic components, staying in the realm with different tools for making :

always wanted to transfer my website (currently hosted through a web company) that serves as a portfolio for my art, to an alternative tool instead. learning to host our own servers through this class with lichen-markdown was really empowering.

https://passecables.commoninternet.net/

thinking of this new space as not just a portfolio, but a way to track ideas/thoughts/ways of making/readings/ alternative screens formats : making it a resource of knowledge to be shared/exchanged.

technical questions for follow-up : how can i include p5.js with lichen-markdown / adding interactivity.

radio-poems, i previously did a project with an rpi, that would listen to the radio and create poems out of the words that were spoken, following certain sentence structure. link here

i would be interested in reconnecting that project, and creating a dictionnary of radio words on my server.

everyday, a response could be created to the poem. could the poem be created out of the most words.

on the server, there could be a tutorial to how to make a little radio ourselfves.

i think alot of radio. radio as something we access through internet.

ideas for server content :

tutorials, how tos for circuits, repairing technical beings

poems that meet cables that meet drawings that meet code

a convergence of tools and tricks to take care of the matters around

inventor > consumer

ideas for server shape : sculpture? wood ?

accessibility, participatory ?

family archives, also ?
